Electoral College Lecture

In June of 2025, our League sponsored a public  ELECTORAL COLLEGE LECTURE.

Dr. Richard A. Almeida, Professor of Political Science at Francis Marion University and Associate Co-Director of Baruch Institute for South Carolina Studies, gave an enlightening and balanced lecture on the pros and cons of our electoral system.

We hosted almost seventy people at this event and the feedback was very positive!

We plan to have an annual civic lecture each year!
